Review of Homefront (2013) by Aldo S — 13 Jun 2014

This movie could've been a hit in the early 90's but now it seems dated. My main reason for wanting to see this (besides enjoying the occasional mindless action flick) was James Franco. I wasn't sure why he was in this movie.

Instead of playing the role in the expected batshit crazy way like most actors would, he plays it rather subdued. It's an interesting choice though I was surprised to see him overshadowed by Kate Bosworth, in a smaller role no less.

Overall it's a bit generic but not a bad way to kill a hour and a half.
