Review of Homefront (2013) by Michael W — 21 Jun 2014
You have to be a Jason Statham fan to like Homefront. I happen to be one. Stallone wrote another 1980's style film about a man who wants to get on with his life with his daughter. Like most strong Alpha males, Statham has nothing to prove and wants to be left alone.
Homefront has some interesting sub-stories about not everyone is all good or all evil. Sometimes we have to apologize,(even when it's a hard thing to do)and try to make peace. The viewer experiences how a strong male will look after his daughter.
There is a ugly conflict because some people are just evil (Franco). Well directed and acted. If you are not a Statham fan, you will hate Homefront, but if you want action I say cool!!!
