Review of Homefront (2013) by A T — 15 Dec 2014
Jason Statham movies are funny, in the sense he's always going to do the same schtick. It's why I'd watch them, and this is no different. Hailed from masterpiece writer Sylvestor Stallone, Homefront really doesn't have anything deep, with Franco hamming it up.
There really is no need to even feel there is any danger, considering Statham will beat the crap out of anyone. The title is nonsensical, and it moves at a glacial pace, but I guess if you enjoy Jason Statham movies, it's "watchable" but wanting you to wish he went back to his 90s pre-Transporter shit.
