All Jason Statham movies that I've ever seen have him typecast into the same basic I-can-kill-20-people-at-once-while-blindfolded roles so I pretty much know what to expect when one of his movies come out.

(and rightfully so). In Homefront I was amazed at Bosworth- she nailed her part and I didn't even recognize her at first. Otherwise it was the basic shoot 'em up. The only characters I remotely cared about were his daughter and friend that helped them, the rest of them all seemed to deserve what they had coming to them.

I kept polarizing from one extreme to the other- I was impressed that they actually used a cell phone to call 9-11 and use phone triangulation. Then I'd get severely annoyed with the camera work that did so many fast takes and stupid zoom ins during the action to make it all go bouncy and fast.

Yeesh. We even had a motorcycle that was hit by a car explode in the first 5 minutes of the movie (you need to watch out for those motorcycles, they can spontaneously combust at any time) Homefront isn't terrible but it's forgettable.
