Family oriented movie; no cursing, extraneous violence or nudity, but it does address a hard subject, addiction and the destruction it causes! Its a subject most people, and critics want to pretend only happens to others or "those kind of people.

Many try to hide it's existance in their family or self and try to joke about it rather than confront it. Daring on the part of the producers and director as these soul searching movies rarely are money makers, being a subject that does not sell well.

There is a redemption story within the plot to please audiences. Some may say that it is predictable and trite but I enjoyed it, of course I enjoy life as it's lived and not in a constant fantasy.
