Review of Home Run (2013) by David J — 20 Apr 2013
Home Run is showing across the country, is a moving movie! Try and see it, will have an impact on you! Is a Study of the lives one person has touched over his years, goodtimes and bad all occur in this movie.
Cory Brand (Scott Elrod) Has a sucessful career in Major League Baseball and due to his problems, he lets things get to him and this leads to a suspension. The story deals with his anger problems, and his addiction to alcohol, but this man's life is more complicated than that.
He is sent back to his hometown that he left 10+ years in the past to find a program that can get him back on-track, a combination of old family ties, lost love, and a renewal of faith work within this man and as he takes a chance and makes choices he finds CHANGE in his life, and in others.
I will be going back to see this movie soon, and will be getting the DVD in the future. it is Well worth your time, is a worthy movie.
