Review of Home Room (2002) by Margot N — 26 Jan 2011
Incredibly strange, quirky independent film. It deals with a school shooting, but not quite, which is what makes it unique, and keeps delivering unexpected twists and surprises, as well as emotional punches, on a regular basis.
Busy Philipps did an amazing job in this, I think. During and even after watching it you're left with a feeling that you're not quite sure whether it was good or bad, whether there was too much or just enough.
Worth a watch.
