Review of Home of the Brave (2006) by Aaron V — 29 Oct 2007
Pretty bad actually. Here's why...there's nothing special about this movie. It was predictable. At some moments it looked cheaply shot and I'm wondering if this is a directorial debut because it seems like it.
I don't care enough to check. I get that it's supposed to show the emotional dealings when troops leave Iraq but it's ridiculous to me. They come home and I guess they have an excuse to be pissed at the rest of the world.
50 Cent or Curtis Jackson since he wants to be taken seriously as an actor but not a rapper I guess is a terrible actor. Maybe get a better director, get rid of 50 and Presley and throw in two good quality actors, get a good script and you might have something.
