Very well-done movie representing the return to civilian life of members of the Armed Forces who have served. Based off of soldiers in Iraq but this could apply to any war veteran. Jessica Biel was decent portraying a amputee trying to reacclimate herself into her previous life.
Samuel L. Jackson played denial to a T. But the saddest story had to be the reality of soldiers re-enlisting because they know no other way of living, of survival. Definitely a movie sending an anti-war message but that is your choice to accept or not.
Is it winning awards, no. Is it worth watching, yes.
