Review of Home of the Brave (2006) by Michael B — 22 Mar 2009
Very impressed. This films tells it like it probably is. The film is not at all pretentious. Samuel L. Jackson is brilliant in this film. Somehow the film portrays the confusion, despair and desolation that the soldiers are faced with upon returning home.
Each of the four soldiers tries to come to terms with their new reality. Some succeed, some do not and draw their conclusions. The film does not take a stand vis-Ã -vis the war in Iraq.
