Review of Home of the Brave (2004) by Amanda H — 15 Mar 2012

I rated this movie as highly as I did not because it's a particularly great film, but because it's an important one. Rather than just being two hours of stuff getting blown up, it looks at the life of a soldier from a human standpoint, and that's not done nearly often enough.

The acting is great, and while there's not a great amount of action or even all that much plot, it really makes you think about how much these people sacrifice for their country.
