Movie just ain't the same without Culkin. This one at least attempts to try a different plot line, the reason the kid is home alone is because he is home sick from school. But it is still just more of the same with the burglars and whatnot and lacks the same good ol' Wet/Sticky Bandits and Kevin McCallister too make it enjoyable.
