Review of Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992) by Baurushan J — 29 Dec 2012
Who thought that to the kid-friendly Christmas tradition that was Home Alone was successful enough to get a sequel that is Home Alone 2: Lost In New York. The story is about the McCallister family whilst on holiday to Miami for Christmas, Kevin is left behind again but instead, he catches another plane to New York and wouldn't you guess it, he's all alone.
With only a few supplies from his bag and in the hotel room, he distracts the workers away while the burglars from the first film, Harry and Marv try to catch him again but oh wait, there are more traps waiting for them both as he sets them up once again before his family arrives and finds him safely.
I would say that this film is equally as good as the first film but maybe I'm being nice since everyone likes the first film even more. Making this sequel was a big risk which was what brought those other ass-raping sequels in the future after this film such as 3, 4 and even 5! Home Alone 2: Lost in New York gets a 9.
6/10 or maybe I'm being too nice.
