Review of Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992) by Ethan H — 13 Dec 2010
Home Alone 2 is a decent sequel. The story and some traps are a little bit rehashed, but its still an enjoyable family comedy. This time instead of being left home alone, he gets lost by himself in New York City and turns the Big Apple into his own playground with his dad's cash and credit cards.
However, the wet bandits escape from prison and plan a holiday heist. So he sets up a bunch of booby traps the bandits will never, ever forget. Pretty interesting story I must say. Overall, I think Home Alone 2 is a decent sequel.
Just don't go past this one though. Home Alone 3 is terrible. And if Home Alone 3 wasn't terrible enough, Home Alone 4 is atrocious. Just stick to the first two and you'll be fine.
