Review of Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992) by Libero S — 19 Dec 2014
Home Alone 2 is a Christmas classic which keeps the same formula as the previous film, and the charismatic Macaulay Culkin, and the legendary Pesci and Stern partnership. If you liked or appreciated the first film you will like this film too as there is little difference in terms of plot.
The only main difference being the setting, instead of being in his house, Kevin has New York as his playing field, but bigger location doesn't necessarily mean a better movie. Overall Home Alone 2 isn't as good as it's predecessor and the similarity between the two is a good and bad thing.
If you liked the first film you'll love this. Enjoyable Christmas classic 4/5.
