Review of Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992) by Bobbi-Leigh E — 02 Jan 2011
Sequels are tough act to pull off. They must diverge themselves from the previous film enough to keep the audience's attention for a second time around. Unfortunately Home Alone 2: Lost in New York does not do this.
The premise is virtually the same except this time the movie is set in New York. In the end everything just feels all too familiar, leaving me to boredom. Around the holidays, Home Alone 2 may warrant a viewing but at any other time stay away.
