Review of Home Alone (1990) by Matt C — 26 Dec 2012
Hello I'm Baurushan and since it's Christmas, I'm going to be reviewing a Christmas special, Home Alone. I didn't want to do the Die Hard franchise because I already reviewed that ages ago and I didn't want to review It's A Wonderful Life because I haven't even seen that yet.
So since I have seen this whole franchise and I haven't even reviewed it yet, I decided to save it for Christmas and now here it is: This is my review of Home Alone. The story is about Kevin McCallister who is picked on by is brothers, sisters and cousins since he's the youngest out of the family.
One day, His family goes on a holiday accidentally leaving him behind and when Kevin wakes up, he finds out that he is home alone so therefore he has to take care of the house and himself all by himself.
Until two thieves named Harry and Marv come along to rob the house, he dodges the house and saves himself by setting up traps and handing them to the police while he remains safe at home and his family returns back.
I don't remember most of the movie since it was ages since I saw this film but what I remember from this film was definitely one of the best Christmas experiences till today that perfected the slapstick humor that no movie can do better.
It remains a Christmas tradition then and it still remains now. Home Alone gets a 9.6/10.
