Review of Home Alone (1990) by Kevin G — 24 Dec 2017
It may be contrived. The protagonist may have the underpinnings of a sociopath. And it just may be the most violent Christmas movie out there. But amongst all the mischief and mayhem, Home Alone has just enough that season sentimentality, played in the quieter moments, like when Kevin visits the fake Santa, that still reminds us of the power of family (even the most dysfunctional and opinionated ones) at Christmas time.
