Review of Home Alone (1990) by Caesar S — 07 Dec 2014
Home Alone is good for the first 15 minutes. Then, everything goes downhill. It's failure could be attributed to the poor slapstick, clichés, and the over-the-top duo of Pesci and Stern. The character of Kevin was very poorly developed. Only 7 years old, he displays intelligence and hilarity that is often lacking in someone twice his age.
Home Alone would have benifited from more realistic characters, and a believable story.
