Review of Home Again (2017) by Marium M — 22 Aug 2017
I watched a screening on this movie last night and it was awful. The attempt at a romantic comedy is riddled with cliches and horrible horrible acting. I am appalled that Reese Witherspoon phoned her performance in with rudimentary acting gestures like rolling her eyes to show frustration and biting her lip to show nervousness.
Name a cliche and it's in the movie:
Cute, needy kids - check.
An idiotic fight - check.
Awkward job situation - check.
Dinner scene - check.
Etc, etc, etc - just awful.
Thank God for Sheen and Bergen or there would be nothing salvageable.
