To all the haters out there...sometimes you just want to watch a bit of fluff to get your mind off of all of the negativity and disasters in our world today! Was this a great movie? No. But was it the worst movie ever made as some would have you believe? Also no.
My heart has been broken by An Inconvenient Sequel, Crown Heights, Served Like a Girl and Detroit. I've seen enough movies with gratutious nudity (usually the women) and sex scenes, foul language and violence to last a lifetime. I wanted to escape for a few hours and this film allowed me to do that.
This movie was no more realistic than Atomic Blonde or Logan Lucky or any number of any other film out there. Unless I'm watching a documentary, I don't expect any movie to be "realistic." My own life is real enough!
If you like Reese and Candice Bergan and don't expect an Oscar-worthy film, you might even enjoy it.
