Review of Home Again (2017) by Dave R — 31 Oct 2017
Doesn't a movie title usually have to have something to do with the actual movie? Not in the case of the movie Home Again it doesn't, as this thing is a real mess. I get it, 40 year old woman being attracted to a 27 year old guy and vice versa so the premise while shaky is fine for a movie, but this thing has so many holes.
First, Reese Witherspoon moves into her dead father's home (is this the Home Again), yet we are lead to believe this father has been dead for years but she moves into a fully furnished home. Next, so she is starting her own business, yet how can she afford such a good lifestyle while starting the business? Then the three guys move in, while she is enjoying the pleasures of one of them and the comedy sort of ensues.
I could go on and on, but if you chose to watch this thing, you should have to suffer through the plot holes and timeline screw-ups galore. This is a total skip for me.
