Review of Home (2015) by Jfleisch315 — 28 Jul 2016
Home is a truly wonderful and heart-filled movie that captures the spirit of what it means to feel at home. The film draws comparisons to our own individualistic techno-culture and that of the BOOV's, which is completely devoid of friends and family.
Save for "Oh" one of the film's two protagonists, who feels alone among his alien peers. The other lead "Tip" helps to teach Oh about the love of family. It's of no surprise that this film wasn't well received initially, as these concepts are not as commonplace in popular culture as they once were.
Home is a much needed and well deserved film for our generation and the next.
