To be honest, I don't think this is a bad movie, but it's just disappointing. The story has it's ups and downs. The two main characters are well developed and their interactions are well acted. The animation is pretty good, and it has a good message.
However there are problems. It can get really annoying at times and some scenes just don't cut out. Plus I feel as it just doesn't have that much emotion outside of the two main characters. Overall, not DreamWorks best work, but not its worse.
