Review of Home (2015) by Amanda C — 03 May 2016
Home was much more enjoyable than I thought it would be. Sure it's fluff, but there is some substance here. Sure it's about a minimal as is possible, but it is there. Bonus points for having a girl of colour in the central role (even if she had to be second to an alien).
This is an occurrence so rare, that it alone makes Home worth recommending. Fortunately there is some genuine entertainment to be found here, so you won't just be watching it to up your children's film diversity quotient.
