Review of Hombre (1967) by Rebecca S — 25 May 2010
Just another solid reason to like Paul Newman. I think it has to be one of the better westerns I've seen because it goes a little beyond the conventional story and throws in some stuff that had to be controversial in 1967.
The shooting scenes are mostly ridiculous, but the film more than makes up for it with witty writing and brilliant acting.
