Kate Winslet has said in an interview years later that, while she has performed nude, including full frontal, for this and several films, she actually hates doing it. She doesn't fathom why films require nudity and can't bear knowing everyone on set is leering at her body.

So when the scene comes up, she says "Oh screw it let's just do it!" Then she disrobes and gets the job done as quickly as possible. In another interview, she said that she had second & third thoughts about all those nude scenes.

"I can't keep getting away with it," Winslet said. "I don't want to become that actress who always gets her kit off.'" But even Winslet knows that she keeps breaking her vow to keep her clothes on.

"It definitely makes me the hypocrite of the decade," she admitted. "I'm going to stop saying it.
