Review of Holy Smoke (1921) by John C — 02 Jul 2008
An interesting movie from the stand point of the struggles between PJ (Keitel) and Ruth (Winslet) characters. PJ Waters is trying to de-program Ruth, but ends being forced to look deeply at himself.
Cinematography was good, shot in the setting of the Outback. Along with Winslet's and Keitel's performances make this movie worth seeing. The ending doesn't give much solid conclusion, and some of the supporting characters become a little lost in the story.
