Review of Holy Motors (2012) by Bradley S — 03 May 2013
Holy Motors consistently engages you, while not really abiding by any logic or means. Its purpose seems to entrance you, and entrance you it does. The creativity at work is something of wonder that, simply, is meant to not be wrong or right in the viewers eyes, but to spark the minds of those watching and ask them to fill in the blanks.
Not all will appreciate it, but I sure can say it does a damn good job as an experimental art-house that needs to be given a chance. Who knows, someone else may just take even more from it then I did, and their eyes it can be called a masterpiece.
