Review of Holy Flying Circus (2011) by Justin R — 31 Aug 2013
Total genius. The Monty Python story around the events and time of the release of 'Life of Brian' told in an inventive and, even more cleverly, Python-esque way. Somehow the inimitable characters are captured amazingly.
Charles Edwards does such an great job as Michael Palin it is often confusing to remember it's not actually him. Darren Boyd's Cleese is almost as good, given the enormity of the task. Factually acurate with attention to detail where it needs to be and playfully irreverent for the rest.
Wonderful.
