Unfortunately every rating I have seen for this movie has been written by someone who either has no sense of humour or half a brain. The movie was exactly what I wanted to see out of this duo. Its plot does not develop very rapidly, which has often been a major focus of the dry, humourless critics, however this slow development is clearly purposeful as it allows for more of the focus to fall upon the duo and their classic antics.

I implore you to walk into the theatre expecting an obnoxious rendition of Sherlock Holmes aimed simply at entertaining, rather than stimulating your intellect. Because of this is what you expect out of this movie, I guarantee you will enjoy yourself!

Hope you manage to tune out all these dimwits and actually give this movie a try!
