Review of Hollywoodland (2006) by Myles H — 07 Mar 2008
Even if George Reeves was never really as big a name as the actor playing him, the controversy over his death manages to fuel an evocative and intriguing period noir. Affleck deserved an Oscar nomination for his spectacular work here.
Brody turns in strong work, even if his character is less relatable or interesting than the film's real subject.
