Review of Hollywoodland (2006) by Allison R — 26 Aug 2008
Growing up in the 1980's, I was too young to truly appreciate George Reeve's interpretation of Superman that was currently on Nick at Nite at the time. I was first introduced to the Man of Steel through Christopher Reeve, so George Reeves just wasn't Superman to me.
I watched the older Superman show b/c it was still entertaining. When this movie went to theatres, I actually wanted to see it but never got a chance to b/c it's run was short lived. Finally had the opportunity to watch it last night, and I must say it was a decent movie.
All of the theories surrounding Reeves' death are explored, which makes it interesting. It's worth a watch.
