While the movie does make a point to criticize Hollywood for the roles in which Black actors and actresses are limited to playing, many of the stereotypes that are perpetrated by Townsend are a bit dated, even by the standards of the time in which this was released.
But be that as it may, what lacks in focus, it makes up for it in its humorous performances from the talent here.
