Review of Hollow Man (2000) by Ben B — 23 Oct 2010
An original twist on an age-old concept that's let down by unfocused writing and direction. There are segments of this where nothing in particular happens, and the climax seems, although enjoyable action-horror-disaster fare, seems to come out of nowhere.
Some interesting questions are raised, but very few are answered. Bacon is as good as he could be expected with the material he has, but the rest of the cast seem to simply be making up the numbers for the most part.
Enjoyable enough and worth a watch, but could have been so much more.
