Review of Hollow Man (2000) by Brendan N — 17 May 2012

Excellent special effects but for a paul verhoeven film this is definitely a miss. the film doesn't work as a whole. kevin bacon is well cast but shue is a little over her head. the script is severely clunky and some of the laughs come from silly on liners.

The issue I had was the whole shift in tone at the end was terribly sudden. I liked the conclusion but the events before it and length pretty much killed its success.
