A.I. Bezzerides, writer of "Thieves' Highway" and "Kiss Me Deadly Kiss Me Deadly," wrote this gritty little story about three people dealing with their various demons during Mardi Gras.
Gig Young is one of those people, but it's ex-boxer Keenan Wynn who's story I found the most interesting. It's kind of preachy and does drag at times, but Wynn was very good in his role and made the film worth watching for me.
