More proof that although times change and styles come and go, essentially good films are ageless. A wonderfully eccentric and fun romantic comedy with a good solid plot and an excellent supporting cast.

The main success of the film however lays heavily on the films two leads, both being definitive screen legends and movie stars of such stature that we simply do not have anymore. Cary Grant plays the Cary Grant role he perfected throughout his life, he is witty, charming and every inch the leading man, and beside him Katherine Hepburn, who gives this films standout performance being both emotionally dramatic and light heartedly comedic so effortlessly.

No matter what age you are or whatever your taste in movies, this film is a great way to spend an evening and look back to a time when the film industry was a far dreamier place than it is today.
