I have alot of dvds in my collection that I haven't watched. I'm not gonna lie, but I got Holiday (1938) in early January and have just got around to watching it now. Sad, isn't it? Katharine Hepburn and Cary Grant are two of my favourite actors and I just love seeing them together on film.

While my favourite collaboration was Bringing Up Baby, I still loved this film, because they were both a little strange. Katharine Hepburn plays Linda, who is stuck living in the past, and thinks that though she is adulthood she can still act like a child.

Cary Grant plays Johnny Case, who is a bit of a gymnast who finds himself getting ready to marry Julia Seton, a wealthy socialite and sister to Linda. You can see from the very start that Julia isn't right for Johnny, and he's guaranteed a better time with Linda.

Through the whole movie I was hoping that Johnny would finally come to his senses, and it was lucky that this film wasn't too long because I would have been waiting a long time. The ending put a smile on my dial.

I would definitely recommend this to fans of comedies.
