Review of Holes (2003) by David Z — 17 Aug 2009
The Walden/Disney collaborations have been decidedly hit or miss. This one though is a golden hit. Thought-provoking, incredibly entertaining, this Dickensian-for-the-21st-century flick is awesome. Some of the editing and shots are irritating and inconsistent but the cast shines in this great adaptation.
Once in a while the live-action department at Disney actually produces something good. Bravo.
