Holes is an exciting, fresh movie. It was based on one of my favorite books. It is very similar to the book as well. The acting is surprisingly good, although it seems like some kids take advantage of acting.
Sometimes you don't understand where the setting is, such as whether you are in the past or present, but Holes is still a good movie.
