Review of Holes (2003) by Toad T — 03 Mar 2013
This film does justice to Louis Sachar's extraordinary novel, and where it does deviate from the book is well executed and flows more comfortably in the visual form. The cast plays their role well, and the members of Tent D are much more vivid and distinctive as their own characters through the additions made to the script.
The ending even feels much more conclusive and satisfying than the barebone implications made in the book.
