Review of Holes (2003) by Your Movie S — 20 Aug 2012
A film about kids digging holes in the desert. Doesn't sound the most promising of storylines, but somehow pulls it off. It runs the story of a wrongly convicted kid, Stanley, in parallel to the historical story of one of his ancestors. The plot pulls you in and maintains your interest throughout.
Naturally, the goodies triumph over the baddies yet again!
All kudos to Disney for taking a chance on this one.
