Review of Holes (2003) by Franzhcritic — 07 Aug 2014
Some minor strays from the book and not so needed narration are nothing to destroy this quirky yet poignant family drama. Shia LaBeouf's only real acting accomplishment was his first. The film carries the same themes of loneliness and family as the book did, and while it has some unnecessary moments, one adaptation that won't leave you disappointed.
