Review of Holding the Man (2015) by Craig T — 25 Oct 2016
There's an enduring sweetness to this guttural cry of a memoir that keeps it palatable, despite its necessary intentions to dust up the demons of the many too-short, too-difficult lives it documents.
For many - if not most - life is a nearly unendurable battle cry against its many injustices. This film argues that thesis, with only this as consolation: Love exists.
