Beautiful photography of Alaskan wilderness. Awful film. Gratuitous violence that OF COURSE includes depicting servicemen in Afghanistan as vicious thugs. The "naturalist" comes off as a fool.
The other characters are either psychopaths or dead. Disconnected plot elements adding up to unintelligible plot. I felt sorry for the wolves and sled dogs.
