Review of Hocus Pocus 2 (2022) by Graywolf008 — 05 Oct 2022

All I can say is stick with the original for Halloween movie nights with the family. My wife and I couldn't even get half way through this movie without feeling bored. One positive aspect of this movie is the actresses playing the Sanderson Sisters, they did an awesome job as always. As for the rest of the cast I couldn't really care for them. But there is so much a cast can do with bad writing.

First of all what really just annoys me, that this doesn't feel like a movie about evil witches, there's no fear element that the witches are after everyone's children like in the first movie. NO, it's all about going after the Mayor who looks like a reincarnation of the Salem Towns Old Reverend. Just feels pointless. Also, you think in a sequel we would see the original cast of characters come back like Max, Dani and Allison, nope not at all.

I'm going to leave at this, for Halloween Movie nights with the family, stick with the original. I feel that Disney is loosing more and more creativity with these remakes and reboots.
