While it isn't the worst movie I've ever seen, it's definitely one of the more annoying ones. When you can be watching movies Nightmare Before Christmas, people choose to watch..this instead.
This confuses me. Don't get me wrong, I get nostalgia. It's just that I wouldn't waste my halloween movie watching on it. First off, the plot of the movie is getting frisky (keep in mind, this is DISNEY!) The witches want to get younger so they can get frisky.
The main character is constantly tormented for being a virgin, even though he's FRICKIN 13! Second: Although I thought the witches did a good job acting in this trash heap, the girl who plays Danni is ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! I groan at almost every line she says, especially the "Yabbos" prank at Allison's house.
Third: Nothing in this movie is funny. Positively nothing. Fourth: Billy is pointless. He has no purpose. The reason he follows the witches orders is so that he can tell them he doesn't want to follow their orders.
Fifth: Did I mention that the actor who plays Danni is awful. Sixth: The plot is all broken up, especially with Binx. He spent 300 years guarding the house. Why didn't he lock the door. If he could talk, why didn't he talk to his dad.
Why didn't he aim for the lighter, and instead tried to stop Max by jumping for his forehead. Also, why did he try to prevent virgins. They virgins could kill the witches and he would be free. Also, couldn't he just eaten the black flame candle? Also, are you telling me that Max is the only person who tried to light the candle in 300 years.
Also, why were they selling lighters in the house in the first place? These are the types I was asking the whole movie. Seventh: Did I mention that I HATE DANNI?!?! Alright, is there anything I like about this movie? actually, yes.
The "I put a spell on you" number is actually really good. Bust besides that, the rest of the movie is garbage. If you want nostalgia, watch Halloween or Nightmare Before Christmas, not this.
This is just an annoying waste of time.
