Review of Hobson's Choice (1954) by Timo V — 15 Jul 2011
Hobson's an alcoholic shoe seller with three hot daughters that want to get married. Everything goes to shit when the oldest of the daughters runs away with his top shoemaker to set up their own business.
Built like a proper 50's movie, crisp clean black & white, story structure sturdy as a stone-built house, and comedy that's just plain darn funny. Absolutely a great film.
