Review of Hobo with a Shotgun (2011) by Nay Nay B — 22 Aug 2011
Chalk full of some great and ridiculous one liners, and some just plain insane dialogue, hobo with a shotgun is a genuinely funny exploitation movie. An absurd amount of gore so there's no tension whatsoever. Even the adorable relationship between the hobo and a prostitute provides little care for the characters. I liked it much better than Harry Brown (a serious take on an old man cleaning up the streets), and I thought harry brown was a pretty good movie. This was executed amazingly for as weird as it was, I mean, it wasn't david lynch good, but I really enjoyed it.
Abby: You can't fix all the worlds problems with a shotgun...
Hobo: It's all I know.
